ON 30th May 2008, i posted an entry which incurred the wrath of many who are unable to pass it off as a joke, and take things to heart. i have failed to exercise sufficient discretion and i accept that is fault on my part.
The parties involved inlcude HSX, and Mrs Gouw.
This should not have happened. I'm sorry it has.
Regarding Mrs Gouw's incident. i apologize for not listening to both sides of the story before making those remarks. i am not involved in it first-hand, so the report might not be accurate. the truth of the matter will have to be clarified with the two parties involved, as both give different versions of the story. i am not in a position to comment on this.
Regarding HSX's incident. i hope SX will not take it to heart as it was meant purely as a simple joke, and nothing personal. i actually do understand where he is coming from in the newspaper report. however, the reason behind looking at that comment from other perspectives is clearly stated in the entry itself, that there are so many differences, so it's puzzling why those were taken as role models. it's just like EG. tao li saying that she wants to be like roger federer or something. u know she just wants to be like an outstanding sportsperson like federer. however he is a of a different gender, different sport, and different nationality. But since SX has taken it a little too personally and has been unable to take it lightly, i shall apologize here as well. if u are unable to accept it like the disclaimer, and is unwilling to let the matter blow over, then there's nothing much i can do.
i would like to reiterate that cjyfc is a total rubbish place from top to bottom. a totally satirical and non-serious blog for simple, and at times, lame entertainment for those in the shooting fraternity. it is not meant to undermine anyone's abilities or to impose personal attacks. it has received such popular readership from the online readers that it has boiled over the smallest of matters. i hope no one will take it to heart and accept it as a simple and harmless joke. from top of the blog right to the very end.
i believe any mature adult will just browse through this blog, and laugh at it if anything's entertaining, then close the window. i emphasize i still believe in the freedom to voice out personal opinions and no one should be denied that freedom. many information is posted on the world wide web each day and surely, not 100% is true. tabloids are widespread out there, and more often than not, governments are taking flak over the world wide web by random bloggers. it is up to u, the reader, to filter what is right from what is wrong. clearly, right from the start, cjyfc is not a blog meant for belief, with comments which include "Aqilah is going RJC" which obviously did not happen, and "Oh and rumours has it that Joseline gonna be NYT coach next year (2008)" which is so untrue.
so at the end of the day, it is up to u, the reader, to know what is right from what is wrong. especially on a blog like this, i don't quite understand why people can take things so seriously as most people will just read and pass it off as nonsense. if there's no such incident to defend about, then i don't think there's a need to defend.
i believe that is all i have to say. peace out.
