This is not so much of NEW but more of the rule being interpreted wrongly.
Formerly we were told that we are allow 2 fault shot in the whole competition. To clear thing up, it is Shoot 2 shots on 1 card leave the next card blank and Shoot 2 shots on the third card leave the next card blank full stop. We can only have 2 shot wrongly shoot on one target. For those that don't know, it is more for when you are out of time so you don't draw your target back and waste time changing it. Anw we were also told that if we were to shoot 2 shots on another card(which is the third card with 2 shots) point will be deduced.
But guess what that is WRONG!!!
The real interpretation is you shoot 2 shots on 1 card then if you shoot a third one on the card, you will be penalised. If you shoot 2 shots one 1 card, leave the next one blank, repeat that for 29 more time, you still would not be penalise. Even if you shoot 2 shots on the first 30 cards and leave the last 30 blank you still would not be penalised. As long as you shoot only 60 shots on competition card it will be alright provided that each card have 2 or less shots. Yap that is the real interpretation.
This rule was further looked into after a small bore prone incident and the above was the conclusion of the discussion.
