ON 30th May 2008, i posted an entry which incurred the wrath of many who are unable to pass it off as a joke, and take things to heart. i have failed to exercise sufficient discretion and i accept that is fault on my part.

The parties involved inlcude HSX, and Mrs Gouw.

This should not have happened. I'm sorry it has.

Regarding Mrs Gouw's incident. i apologize for not listening to both sides of the story before making those remarks. i am not involved in it first-hand, so the report might not be accurate. the truth of the matter will have to be clarified with the two parties involved, as both give different versions of the story. i am not in a position to comment on this.

Regarding HSX's incident. i hope SX will not take it to heart as it was meant purely as a simple joke, and nothing personal. i actually do understand where he is coming from in the newspaper report. however, the reason behind looking at that comment from other perspectives is clearly stated in the entry itself, that there are so many differences, so it's puzzling why those were taken as role models. it's just like EG. tao li saying that she wants to be like roger federer or something. u know she just wants to be like an outstanding sportsperson like federer. however he is a of a different gender, different sport, and different nationality. But since SX has taken it a little too personally and has been unable to take it lightly, i shall apologize here as well. if u are unable to accept it like the disclaimer, and is unwilling to let the matter blow over, then there's nothing much i can do.

i would like to reiterate that cjyfc is a total rubbish place from top to bottom. a totally satirical and non-serious blog for simple, and at times, lame entertainment for those in the shooting fraternity. it is not meant to undermine anyone's abilities or to impose personal attacks. it has received such popular readership from the online readers that it has boiled over the smallest of matters. i hope no one will take it to heart and accept it as a simple and harmless joke. from top of the blog right to the very end.

i believe any mature adult will just browse through this blog, and laugh at it if anything's entertaining, then close the window. i emphasize i still believe in the freedom to voice out personal opinions and no one should be denied that freedom. many information is posted on the world wide web each day and surely, not 100% is true. tabloids are widespread out there, and more often than not, governments are taking flak over the world wide web by random bloggers. it is up to u, the reader, to filter what is right from what is wrong. clearly, right from the start, cjyfc is not a blog meant for belief, with comments which include "Aqilah is going RJC" which obviously did not happen, and "Oh and rumours has it that Joseline gonna be NYT coach next year (2008)" which is so untrue.

so at the end of the day, it is up to u, the reader, to know what is right from what is wrong. especially on a blog like this, i don't quite understand why people can take things so seriously as most people will just read and pass it off as nonsense. if there's no such incident to defend about, then i don't think there's a need to defend.

i believe that is all i have to say. peace out.

The recent concluded NUSIS concludes that NYGH and HCI is going to win the B div rifle team. Even though they did not shoot I am going to base my prediction by one shoot that NYGH has shoot, and assume they are simply too strong, 3 high 380 plus shooters, most school hardly managed 2 besides Fuhua and AISS, please do not prove me wrong NYGH. FHSS only has 2 380390 shooters and a 380 plus shooter while AISS has 2 380 and one 370 plus shooter. Of course I know what is NYGH weakness but I am not going to expose them, I don't really care about B div I guess. HCI with their second shooter WTC topping Commonwealth selection is of course going to win it like I predicted long ago... unless they shoot zero again like last year but then again they won even while shooting zero last year, at least for their C div.

Not going to predict any pistol result since there are still unknown http://usera.imagecave.com/Absol/pistolgrip.jpeg and not like I am an expert in that field.

I rather predict combine school team. It is going to be boring cos I am not in the mood to elaborate. Will add in unelaborated C div rifle prediction after this.

C Rifle Girls

RGS is almost certain to win it, with every shooters capable of hitting above 380 whats going to stop them? The other top 4 position will be a fight between NYGH, XMSS, AISS and DHS.

With Jacqueline Koh and Yang Jianing capable of hitting over 380 NYGH just need to a third shooter to hit high 370 to have a real challenge on RGS unfortunately some work will need to be done it all rest on the shoulder of Belinda Leong to complete 4 rifle gold for HCI and NYGH, but nevertheless still a good claim for second.

Less predictable down the line, DHS has Jiang XiaoShuang Grace leading the team but will need the rest to shoot a higher level if they are to have a real challenge for. XMSS wise is all to do with mental, as long as they can stop shooting 80 plus series, and shoot like their other 3 series rgs MIGHT have something to worry about. AISS is in the same situation as NYGH, however their 2 good shooter are slightly inferior to NYGH's.


C Rifle Boys
Like I mentioned HCI is going to win this. Just a point to take note is James PB is better than Wesley's PB. ACS (I)... will Samuel show up for national? With only Ezekeil and sec1 prodigy Edwin (haha someone is wrong about him stuck at 560 plus, i wonder who) who constantly train, their chances looks slim. Da Xiang do not wish to comment about FHSS

Zhang29 will shift his whole team to train in SAFRA if 3 of his members get into NTT.

NYGH are moving back to school for training. Going under the radar? Or to have more training due to up and coming NUS open?

A quick look at the 2nd rule in Monthly Shoot Rules will tell you that it is open to all SECONDARY school student and NYT members only. A quick look at detail 3 and 4 of May detailing one might notice that there are actually 2 shooters from a certain JC who registered under their secondary school. Which tells us a lot about the integrity of the shooters from their school to lie about their school and breaking the rules to shoot in monthly shoot they are not allow to participate in. Future more, one of the shooter is even a medal winner in last year national and therefore should be a recognisable figure to stuffs doing the detailing. But of course it seems that they are from the same school. Certainly the school seems have also taught them to be bias, I wonder if they will allow other college shooter to take part in NYT monthly.

It is peek period at SAFRA and everybody seems to find it difficult to get a lane during the 7.30pm to 9.30pm. Therefore some students' coach asked SAFRA to allow them to use NTT lanes which was already paid. Amazingly they were asked by SAFRA to pay for the NTT lanes that were already paid for, which mean SAFRA is getting payment again for lanes that were already paid. However the moment a NTT shooter appeared, their coach asked 4 shooters to move out! Which well make NTT shooters look like they are really bad guy as those student would not get a refund from SAFRA despite just being at the lane for less than 10min. Injustice? Of course it will be all too easy to say there should be not charge for using NTT lanes, if thats the case why would people be bothered to queue up as early as 6.50pm to PAY for the walk-in lanes when they can just slack and talk cock, wait for all the walk-in lanes to be taken and use the free NTT lanes. So actually a better solution would be, in my humble opinion, if any payment, it should be made to SSA who has already booked the lane, instead of to SAFRA, if any NTT or NYT shooters came along before 2h limit is up, the students will get a full refund. The charge can still be $2.10 or slightly higher etc $2.50 to encourage the students to actually come early.
